Follow-Up Chiropractic Care

(Established Clients)

Established Care Requirement

Follow-up chiropractic appointments are available to clients who have already completed an initial examination with Dr. Julie Wilkening, DC. By scheduling a follow-up visit, you confirm that you have completed any prior recommendations related to your care (such as X-rays, additional testing, or professional evaluations), or have discussed alternatives with Dr. Julie before returning for care.

Scope of Care

Follow-up visits are intended to continue, reassess, or progress chiropractic care or nutritional guidance based on your prior examination, clinical findings, and response to care. Chiropractic care and nutritional guidance both focus on improving movement, function, health, well-being and nervous system support and are not a substitute for medical care or emergency treatment.

Privacy & HIPAA

Your personal health information is protected in accordance with HIPAA privacy regulations. All health records, communications, and findings are kept confidential and shared only as permitted by law or with your written authorization.

Appointment Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will result in a $25 retained appointment fee.

New Client Chiropractic Consultation & Examination

(Initial Visit)

Purpose of the Visit

New client appointments include a chiropractic consultation and examination with Dr. Julie Wilkening, DC. This visit is designed to understand your health history, current concerns, movement patterns, and determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you.

Examination & Recommendations

Based on your consultation and examination, Dr. Julie may recommend chiropractic care, additional testing (such as X-rays), referrals, or other professional evaluations. No chiropractic treatment is guaranteed at the initial visit if further information is needed to ensure safe and appropriate care.

Informed Choice

Chiropractic care and nutritional guidance are health services intended to support movement, function, and overall well-being. They do not replace medical care, medical diagnosis, or emergency services. You are encouraged to maintain care with your primary medical provider as needed.
